Liberal Party Leader Zübeyir Gülabi Criticizes Government: “Justice, Merit, and Conscience in Crisis”

Liberal Party Chairman Zübeyir Gülabi made comprehensive remarks on Türkiye’s current agenda in his press statement dated April 22, 2026. Gülabi argued that recent developments have led to a “governance crisis” and an “erosion of social conscience,” directing strong criticism toward the government.

Addressing acts of violence in educational institutions, Gülabi extended condolences to students and teachers who lost their lives in school attacks. He criticized the failure to prevent such incidents, claiming that public administration has not fulfilled its responsibilities.

Highlighting economic concerns, Gülabi referred to mining workers in Eskişehir who protested after not receiving their wages. He criticized the detention of workers attempting to voice their grievances, stating that “victims are being punished instead of those truly responsible.”
