Felicity Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan made notable statements regarding the Abraham Accords and ongoing debates over normalization with Israel.

In his remarks, Arıkan stated, “We reject every agreement that brings surrender instead of peace,” arguing that the Abraham Accords could have serious consequences for the region.

The Felicity Party leader said the following in his statement:

“The Abraham Accords are time bombs planted in the region by Zionism and imperialism.

Trump, who is demanding that regional countries, including Türkiye, normalize relations with Israel as a condition for establishing a framework for agreement with Iran, is trying to cover up his defeat against Iran by securing a diplomatic victory for terrorist Israel at the negotiating table.

We openly warn both the governments of the region and the ruling administration: In no process that is not based on Israel’s surrender can a lasting framework of agreement be established with the Zionist mentality.

This proposal, which effectively legitimizes Israel’s aggression, should not even be taken into consideration.

The government must immediately and clearly announce to the public that it rejects this proposal and declare that it will not sit at the same table with Zionism.”

Arıkan’s remarks drew attention at a time when Türkiye’s relations with Israel and diplomatic developments in the Middle East are once again at the center of political debate.
