BTS played their first UK show in seven years at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on 6 July 2026, the band said during the concert, and the performance coincided with England’s 3-2 World Cup victory over Mexico; the show attracted a record 65,000 attendees and highlighted the commercial and cultural success of their comeback.

The seven members — RM, Jimin, V, Suga, Jungkook, Jin and J-Hope — opened the London date with material from their comeback album Arirang and the single Swim, performing on a 360-degree stage inspired by Korean cultural motifs.

RM addressed the crowd, joking that the band brings luck to cities they visit and thanking fans for their patience after a gap caused by the cancelled 2020 Map of the Soul tour, the Covid pandemic and mandatory military service that paused group activities for three years.

Suga and other members expressed gratitude for the audience’s support, while J-Hope noted it was an honour to play at the stadium associated with South Korean captain Son Heung-min. The band also referenced recent national football results during their remarks.

The concert incorporated Korean cultural elements: the audience heard the toll of King Seongdeok’s sacred bell before the show and the stage design drew on the Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and South Korean flag motifs.

Musically, the set focused on Arirang’s blend of hip-hop roots and pop, with high-energy numbers such as Hooligan, Aliens and Run BTS, and a medley combining the new track FYA with their 2016 hit Fire.

Performance highlights included large-scale choreography with 50 dancers, pyrotechnics, and audience interaction as members ran catwalks and sprayed water over fans; Swim prompted a notably strong singalong, and informal moments such as Jungkook giving Jin a piggyback emphasized personal connection.

The setlist mixed new and classic material, including Fake Love, Butter, Dynamite, Life Goes On and Into the Sun, closing with a sentimental finale that underscored the band’s intention to stay together for the tour run.

The worldwide tour spans 88 dates in 23 countries and is projected to rival major stadium tours in revenue; Arirang has reached number one in 26 countries and appeared on several year-end lists in 2026.

Fans traveled from Korea, the United States and across Europe to attend the London show, describing the concert as a long-awaited reunion and praising the group’s ability to connect audiences across languages.
