Liberal Party Spokesperson Engin Avcı said public discontent with the government had turned into anger, expressing doubts about the government’s ability to win an election. Emphasizing that opposition parties must look beyond criticizing the government, Avcı said his party was preparing to rebuild the country and address the damage after a change of government.
Liberal Party Spokesperson Engin Avcı, spokesperson for the Liberal Party, made statements about Türkiye’s political future and the responsibilities facing the opposition. Arguing that public opposition to the government had intensified, Avcı stressed that opposition parties should focus not only on criticizing the current administration but also on preparing to resolve the problems the country may face after a change of government.
In his statement, Liberal Party Spokesperson Engin Avcı shared his assessment of the government’s electoral prospects and the responsibilities facing the opposition, saying:
“Even if they add the DEM Party to the AKP-MHP alliance and imprison all opposition leaders, I don’t think this government can win an election anymore. The people’s reaction has now turned into anger.
Opposition parties like ours need to focus less on criticizing the government and more on how we will repair the enormous damage left behind after the government and how we will get the country back on its feet.
As the Liberal Party, we are making preparations for this.
We invite honest, competent people from all segments of society who want to take responsibility for their country’s future to join the Liberal Party.”
One of the key points in Engin Avcı’s statement was the Liberal Party’s preparations for the period following a change of government. Emphasizing the need for the opposition to develop concrete solutions for the country’s future, Avcı invited honest and qualified individuals from across society to join the party.
Avcı’s message combined criticism of the current government with a call to prepare for the country’s future by taking responsibility and building a capable team.
