Devlet Bahçeli, speaking at the Group Meeting of Nationalist Movement Party in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, delivered a comprehensive speech addressing global politics, the Middle East crisis, and Türkiye’s strategic role in the emerging world order.

Bahçeli described the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a “deep tragedy wounding global conscience,” sharply criticizing Israel’s actions. He highlighted civilian casualties, destruction of infrastructure, and limited humanitarian access, arguing that the international community has failed to respond effectively.

He devoted significant attention to the United Nations, stating that its current structure is inadequate for resolving global crises. He argued that the Security Council’s veto system blocks justice and prevents fair international decision-making.

Addressing Middle Eastern tensions, Bahçeli said diplomatic developments between the United States and Iran should be closely monitored. He emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is a critical energy and trade route whose instability could trigger global economic consequences.

He also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, accusing his government of deepening regional instability for political purposes. He described rhetoric directed at Türkiye as unacceptable.

A major part of the speech focused on the Turkic world and the South Caucasus. Bahçeli referred to the Karabakh process, describing Azerbaijan’s gains as a historic turning point in regional balance. He defined the Zangezur corridor as a “strategic passage” vital for Turkic connectivity.

He further highlighted the concept of the “Turan Corridor,” emphasizing its geopolitical and economic importance in linking Türkiye with Central Asia. He stated that strengthening the Organization of Turkic States would enhance regional stability.

Turning to youth, Bahçeli delivered motivational remarks on education, productivity, and national values. He stressed that Turkish youth are the key force shaping Türkiye’s future.
