Former Kırıkkale MP Kemal Albayrak called for a comprehensive reinvestigation into the July 15 coup attempt, urging the Turkish Parliament to revisit the issue and examine court records in detail.
Former Kırıkkale MP Kemal Albayrak called for a renewed and comprehensive investigation into the July 15 coup attempt in a social media statement shared publicly.
Albayrak stated that the Turkish Grand National Assembly should once again place the events of July 15 on its agenda, arguing that the damage caused by the coup attempt and the loss of lives have not been fully investigated.
In his statement, Albayrak claimed that opposition parties and legal circles should conduct more extensive reviews of court records related to the process. He also referenced journalist Müyesser Yıldız, praising her interest and research into the matter.
Questioning whether those responsible had truly been held accountable, Albayrak stressed that all financial losses, deaths, and alleged networks involved in the process should be thoroughly examined. He further argued that intelligence connections and individuals allegedly linked to the events must also be investigated in detail.
Albayrak’s statements have reignited political debates surrounding the events and unresolved aspects of the July 15 coup attempt.
