Former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos was deported from the United States after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security said on Friday. Yiannopoulos, 41, was returned to the United Kingdom after being arrested at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on 27 August, DHS said.

The department described him as “an illegal alien from the United Kingdom” who had entered the US in May 2019 and overstayed his authorized period. DHS said he was sent back to his home country following the detention.
