Turkey’s Foreign Producer Price Index increased 3.61% month-on-month and 32.60% year-on-year in August 2026, while energy prices recorded an annual rise of 106.24%.

Turkey’s Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released the Foreign Producer Price Index (YD-ÜFE) figures for August 2026. The index increased by 3.61% month-on-month in August, while the annual increase reached 32.60%.
The YD-ÜFE rose 25.16% compared with December 2025 and increased 32.35% based on twelve-month averages. The monthly increase stood at 1.32% in August 2025 and 2.95% in August 2024.
On an annual basis, prices in mining and quarrying increased by 43.41%, while manufacturing prices rose by 32.41%.
Among the main industrial groups, energy recorded the highest annual increase at 106.24%. This was followed by intermediate goods at 32.39%, durable consumer goods at 31.62%, non-durable consumer goods at 31.35%, and capital goods at 20.59%.
On a monthly basis, mining and quarrying prices increased by 3.77%, while manufacturing prices rose by 3.61%. Energy prices recorded a monthly increase of 14.68%, followed by durable consumer goods at 4.38%, intermediate goods at 2.82%, capital goods at 2.59%, and non-durable consumer goods at 2.22%.
