Manufacturing Capacity Utilization Rises to 74.1% in September

Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası verilerine göre imalat sanayinde kapasite kullanım oranı Eylül 2026’da yükseldi. Mevsimsel etkilerden arındırılmış kapasite kullanım oranı yüzde 74,1’e çıkarken, arındırılmamış oran yüzde 74,2 olarak gerçekleşti. Her iki göstergede de aylık bazda artış kaydedildi. Veriler, 1-14 Eylül 2026 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen İktisadi Yönelim Anketi’ne 1.982 iş yerinin verdiği yanıtların değerlendirilmesiyle oluşturuldu.

Manufacturing capacity utilization increases

Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası (CBRT) has released its Manufacturing Industry Capacity Utilization Rate data for September 2026. The figures, compiled from responses submitted by 1,982 manufacturing establishments as part of the Business Tendency Survey, showed a monthly increase in capacity utilization.

The seasonally adjusted Capacity Utilization Rate (CUR) rose by 0.6 percentage points from the previous month to 74.1%. The unadjusted Capacity Utilization Rate increased by 0.7 percentage points on a monthly basis, reaching 74.2%.

Survey conducted from September 1 to 14

According to the data released by the CBRT, the September 2026 Business Tendency Survey was conducted between September 1 and 14. The manufacturing industry’s capacity utilization indicators were calculated by aggregating responses collected through the survey.

Capacity utilization data are published by the CBRT as part of its Business Tendency Statistics under the Official Statistics Programme.
