Türkiye’s Financial Services Confidence Index rose 8 points month-on-month to 158.4 in September, with stronger assessments of business conditions and service demand supporting the increase.

According to data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), the Financial Services Confidence Index (FSCI) rose by 8.0 points month-on-month to 158.4 in September.
The Financial Services Survey showed that the FSCI increased from 150.4 in August to 158.4 in September. The rise was driven by improvements in assessments of business conditions over the past three months, demand for services over the past three months, and expectations for demand for services over the next three months.
Survey results showed that assessments of an improvement in business conditions over the past three months strengthened compared with the previous month. Assessments of increased demand for services over the past three months and expectations of higher demand over the next three months also strengthened.
On employment, the balance of respondents reporting an increase in employment over the past three months strengthened slightly, while expectations for employment growth over the next three months weakened.
Confidence indices increased across all subsectors of the Finance and Insurance Activities sector in September.
The confidence index for “Financial Service Activities, Except Insurance and Pension Funding” increased by 7.4 points month-on-month. The index for “Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Funding” rose by 15.8 points, while “Activities Auxiliary to Financial Services and Insurance Activities” increased by 4.9 points.
The September 2026 Financial Services Survey was conducted between September 1 and 14, with responses from 150 institutions operating in the financial sector weighted and aggregated.
The CBRT noted that the survey results are calculated based on respondents’ answers and do not reflect the views or forecasts of the Central Bank.
