A car was driven into a group on Harbour Road in Skerries, County Dublin, on Saturday, leaving three teenagers with non-life-threatening injuries and leading to a dangerous driving charge, police and court records show.

Footage shared on social media appears to show people fighting in the area before a car was driven at a group. Two girls and a boy, all teenagers, were taken to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening, broadcaster RTÉ reported.

Sean McGlone of Beechwood Drive, Drogheda, was arrested at his home at about 18:00 on Sunday on suspicion of endangerment and taken to a Garda station where he was charged. An officer did not object to bail provided a number of conditions were imposed.

Judge Stephanie Coggins granted bail on Monday on McGlone’s own recognizance of €5,000 with a €1,000 lodgement. Conditions include signing on three times weekly, avoiding the Balbriggan and Skerries areas, no contact with witnesses, abstaining from alcohol and maintaining good behaviour. McGlone drives a van as part of his job.
