Türkiye’s BIST 100 index ended Tuesday’s session at 14,405.25 points, rising 1.79% as investors pushed the benchmark higher during the trading day.

Türkiye’s benchmark BIST 100 index closed Tuesday’s trading session with a strong gain, ending the day above the 14,400-point level.

The index climbed 253.66 points, equivalent to a 1.79% increase, to finish at 14,405.25 points.

Trading started with the BIST 100 at 14,151.80 points, compared with the previous close of 14,151.59 points.

The benchmark moved within a range of 14,075.91 to 14,405.25 points during the session, with the day’s closing level also representing its intraday peak.

The broader market also recorded gains. The BIST 30 index advanced 2.23% to 17,103.71 points.

Meanwhile, the BIST All Shares index rose 1.49% to 18,435.51 points, while the BIST All-100 index gained 0.73% to reach 75,187.41 points.

The BIST 100’s 52-week high stands at 15,204.92 points, while its 52-week low is recorded at 10,053.74 points.

Market participants are expected to closely monitor whether the benchmark can maintain its position above the 14,400-point threshold in the coming sessions.
