I explained the answers to the questions “Why is the country in this state?” and “When did we become like this?” in the video.

Please, hear the story from me as well.

Things do not work simply by talking about them in the Grand National Assembly, on television, or in @X spaces…

In Spain, an 87-year-old woman was evicted from the home where she had lived for 71 years.

The elderly woman, who lived in Madrid, had been making ends meet for years with a rent of approximately 500 euros. When the property changed hands, the rent was increased to 2,650 euros. This amount was far beyond her pension.

The woman did not refuse to pay her rent; on the contrary, she continued paying it. In fact, someone offered to cover the difference and pay the woman’s rent for the rest of her life.

But the property owner rejected the offer.

In the end, the elderly woman was removed from her home on a stretcher, accompanied by police officers.

The Spanish people did not see this simply as “the eviction of an elderly woman,” and thousands took to the streets.

The woman became a symbol of the debate over soaring rents and tenant protection in the country.

What is happening in our country?

Instead of standing with those who suffer injustice, we remain silent, look on, and walk away.

Yet justice is not something we should seek only when it happens to us.

If you do not stand up for someone else’s rights, you will find no one to defend yours.

And you are not finding anyone, either…

Corruption begins with silence, and the price of silence is heavy!

I admire the Spanish people. They exercised their democratic rights and did what needed to be done:

They stood with Palestine, which is suffering under Israel’s oppression.

They defended the rights of those who were wronged and refused to remain silent in the face of injustice.

What have I done? What are we doing?
