BlackRock-led surge sparks biggest single-day U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF inflow in nearly a month, fueling investor demand and market momentum.
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs saw a significant resurgence on Monday, drawing $526.6 million in net new money — the biggest one-day inflow in almost a month. The upswing was driven almost entirely by one fund, highlighting a concentrated surge of investor interest.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the charge, attracting $665.2 million, its largest single-day intake since Oct. 7 of last year, based on SoSoValue figures. Collectively, the suite of bitcoin ETFs last recorded a larger daily gain on Sept. 22, when inflows totaled $714.7 million.
Not all bitcoin funds participated in the rally. Fidelity’s FBTC experienced net outflows of $83.6 million, and Grayscale’s GBTC shed $54.9 million during Monday’s trading — while the other listed funds reported no net flows. This contrast underscores how the buying activity was heavily concentrated in IBIT.
The Monday inflow more than offset the prior week’s withdrawals of $228.5 million. Despite the rebound, the group of bitcoin ETFs remains net negative for October, trailing by about $90.5 million when measured using SoSoValue-sourced data compiled by CoinDesk.
In contrast to bitcoin products, ether-focused ETFs recorded further redemptions. Ether funds logged another day of withdrawals, losing a total of $103.3 million — the fourth consecutive session of outflows. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for the bulk of those redemptions, registering roughly $95.4 million in net outflows, according to SoSoValue.
