EXPLOITATION, PLUNDER AND THE DECAY OF POLITICS
The real agenda that should be discussed in Türkiye today is; the transfer of legitimacy from the people to exploitative powers. It is poverty, lawlessness, and injustice spreading into every sphere. It is the plundering of public resources by politicians who hold power and by owners of corrupt networks.
The transfer of ill-gotten wealth abroad, a system where thieves are not prosecuted and innocent people are destroyed through arbitrariness, must be discussed. The need to shed light on July 15, the fact that young people are leaving the country, and that every wrongdoing is protected in proportion to power must all be put on the table.
While we are forced to talk about these issues, artificial agendas such as Kılıçdaroğlu, Özel, and certain annulment debates are being created to obscure the real problems. Those who are asleep must now wake up. It is not about following the agenda, but about setting the agenda. A full-scale struggle is required for a country governed by those who defend reason, science, law, democracy, and ethics.
Nowadays, a trend of “purification” has emerged. If a full purification is desired, shouldn’t we look at the partisan appointees placed at the head of every institution without merit, as well as the judiciary and politicians?
Purification can only be carried out by an independent judiciary and competent, honest, and moral officials. Can purification happen among those who are themselves part of the problem? Can purification be sought in those whose legitimacy comes from exploitation?
Those who do not commit crimes and honest individuals do not need purification. The ones who truly need to be cleansed are; plunderers, thieves, those who steal public resources, those who legitimize bribery, and so-called “religious hypocrites who use faith as a cover.”
One wonders: are status-seeking opportunists who destroy the honor of ideas even human?
Looking at these political transitions and transformations, a truly repulsive situation emerges. There is no concern for the country or the people; the only thing being done is covering up corruption. Politics has completely decayed and has become a commercial hub for thieves.
I ask: Can the pin on the lapel of shameless people bring salvation? The state of those who are enslaved by immorality, character corruption, and filth is clear. Can the fate of those who sell their dignity out of necessity ever be forgotten?
Until yesterday, their mouths were constantly filled with FETÖ rhetoric. But now, the situation is clear.
CHP should sit down and seriously consider: where do they find such people?
