Ministry of Health: “No Clinical Signs or Symptoms Have Been Detected in 5 Individuals”

Ministry of Health has released a new statement regarding citizens brought to Türkiye from an international cruise ship where a hantavirus case had been identified. The ministry stated that the health conditions of all five individuals, including the last three transported by air ambulance, are being closely monitored.

According to the official statement, necessary samples were collected from the individuals and all test results returned negative. The ministry also noted that “no clinical signs or symptoms have been detected in any of the five individuals so far.”

Authorities stated that the citizens will remain under quarantine for the recommended period while their health conditions continue to be evaluated regularly by medical teams. Officials emphasized that the monitoring process is being carried out meticulously and under strict supervision.

As hantavirus cases continue to draw global attention from time to time, health authorities are maintaining precautionary measures. Experts continue to stress the importance of hygiene and protective measures, especially in areas with potential rodent exposure.
