Gold prices moved higher during the day as global market dynamics and expectations surrounding the U.S. Federal Reserve’s upcoming interest rate decision continued to shape investor sentiment. The rise in international gold prices pushed gram gold and other domestic gold products up by nearly 1%.

Gram gold climbed from approximately TRY 6,713 at the previous close to TRY 6,778, marking a daily increase of 0.96%. The price of gold per ounce also advanced from around $4,280 to $4,326, gaining 1.08%. Quarter gold rose from TRY 10,975 to TRY 11,082, while Republic gold increased from TRY 43,775 to TRY 44,202.

Currency markets, meanwhile, recorded only modest movements. The U.S. dollar rose from TRY 48.62 to TRY 48.66, corresponding to a 0.07% daily increase. The euro edged up from TRY 56.18 to TRY 56.23, while the British pound moved from TRY 65.60 to TRY 65.66.

Overall market activity remained slightly positive, with global developments and expectations for the Fed’s interest rate decision remaining among the key factors influencing prices. Gold posted a more noticeable gain compared with the relatively limited movements seen in major foreign exchange rates.
