US President Donald Trump has released a photo of the suspect, taken after he was apprehended, following an armed attack at an event attended by himself and members of his cabinet.

The repercussions of the armed attack at a White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington, D.C., attended by President Trump and members of his cabinet, continue. Trump, who was quickly evacuated from the scene after the attack, shared a photo of the suspect after his arrest on his social media account. Initial reports indicate the attacker is from California. He is seen lying on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back and shirtless. A video of the incident was also shared on social media by those present.

Trump was evacuated after gunshots were heard

President Trump and members of his cabinet were attending a White House Correspondents’ Association dinner at a hotel in Washington, D.C. Following the sound of successive gunshots in the hall, Trump and his entourage were quickly evacuated from the scene by the Secret Service.
