Prime Minister unveils new Istanbul infrastructure fund to boost development, transport and housing projects with strategic public-private investment.
The government announced a new infrastructure fund for Istanbul, Prime Minister Mehmet Yılmaz said on Monday, aiming to accelerate urban projects and improve transport and utilities across the city.
According to the Prime Minister’s statement, the fund was established to consolidate financing for major municipal works and to speed up ongoing construction programs. Yılmaz said the initiative will coordinate investments among national and local agencies to reduce delays.
