Kemal Albayrak, the former Member of Parliament for Kırıkkale in the 20th and 21st terms, harshly criticized the government, citing institutional collapse, injustice, and economic difficulties, and called for a return to the rule of law and a change in power.
This government, responsible for so many wrongs, can no longer remain in power. Even if it stands with state resources, the damage it has caused to this country in the history of the Republic is evident. Institutions have collapsed; there is hunger, poverty, and injustice—every kind of wrongdoing exists. There is no solution. The solution is for this government to go. The opposition should unite on principles in light of this. Unfortunately, the country is being plundered both domestically and internationally. 🇹🇷
A state run by personal orders and directives approves every wrongdoing. There is no justice. There are unsolved murders and corruption. Oppression prevails; the strong are protected, while the weak are oppressed and exploited. Free and civil spaces are destroyed. Returning to the rule of law is essential. A rules-based administration exists through law and the rule of law. The destruction of people through arbitrariness and emergency decrees reflects the injustice of a state governed by personal directives. Returning to the rule of law will bring prosperity, peace, and security to the country. Arbitrary practices will cease. 🇹🇷
A system where authority is vast but the responsible are weak fosters arbitrariness, oppression, injustice, and enriches the corrupt. 🇹🇷
Arbitrary governance leads to a spoils system, turning the country into private estates for the corrupt. A rules-based administration is achieved through the rule of law. It does not allow arbitrariness. 🇹🇷
Innocence has no effect on a merciless hunter. You can understand what those who committed the injustices of emergency decrees truly are. But this will come to an end—it must. They are waiting for orders from their superiors. This is the painful truth. Instead of legality, obedience to orders prevails. 🇹🇷
Civility is the ethics of living together. Law and justice balance and require this. The principles of coexistence—division of labor, political unity, existing within an order, and building social peace—are the goal. The principle of not doing to others what you do not want done to yourself is essential. Justice is indispensable for these principles. 🇹🇷
